Recording both input and output.
Hi, i've just downloaded audacity and i am wondering if it is possible to record both my input(sound from microphone) and my output(speakers) for things like skype calls(I have looked in the links section but the one about the VOIPs is broken). Any help would be smashing!

... on my PC. I have not had problems in the past - from what i remember i could use mp3 and wav files (wav mainly) and got excellent results. any help - if you can help me, please can you keep your answer as less-techy as you can. many thanks in advance. :P

How to set the same volume level to a group of files?
Hi!
To start, I know nothing about sound editing... sorry.
I have about 50 mp3 files, and I would like that all of them would have the same volume level.
My problem is that I have no idea how to do this... and I would appreciate a lot if someone could help me!

... the Virtual Cable to VSTHost, although according to the Sound Control Panel settings they should go directly to the speakers. Are you talking about the second track being a little bit shorter than the first track? (other than that they look the same to me).
Which exact version of Audacity are you using (look in "Help menu > About Audacity")

Running a VAIO 64 bit Professional with RealTek audio, using Audacity 1.3, I can read in an MP3 file but I can't play it. I get an error on audio output. Any Help

I'm using headphones. The only way I can record without recording the preview track is to have everything else on mute ):
