unwanted phase shift
... the envelope of the recording. In other words, each strum has a full cycle of phase shift, so if I strum fast, the phase shifts fast. Can anybody help me stop this from happening?

Audac.1.3.3 w/Firebox: how to configure settings to record?
installed Audacity 1.3.3 on Mac OSX cpu, attempting to use with the Presonus Firebox.
Anyone know how to configure the settings, to record?
We have set the audio input source on the computer to the Firebox.
Signal is coming into the computer but not into Audacity.

... technique for avoiding this problem is to make the edit cuts at " zero crossing points ". There is a feature in the Edit menu that can help to make edits at zero crossing points: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Edit_Menu#zero
