Mono out has effects applied when I plug it into my amp. I'm not doing anything different than what I do with my amps, just plugging into the computer versus amp, that's what I didn't know if there was some setting in Audacity I was missing or something. Thanks for any help you all can give me!

Ensure that you are using standard characters (a-z, 0-9, space, hyphen, underscore) in file names.
Using dots and back-slash are a major "no" on Windows (illegal characters).

Which exact version of Audacity are you using? (look in "Help > About Audacity")

Are you recording from an ION USB turntable with Audacity 1.2.6 on Windows Vista?
Have you lost all sound while the USB turntable is plugged in ?
