Which version of Windows? Which exact version of Audacity? (look in "Help menu > About Audacity") Exactly which plug-in are you trying to install? Where exactly did you put the plug-in? (full path) Did you set Audacity to rescan for VSTs? See here: ...

i cannot get plug ins no matter what i do.
i am using the beta, i have tried to get plug ins, i have pasted them into my audacity plug in folder...couldnt find them. anywhere. i wanted an autotune, but couldnt get it, even though its in my folder unzipped and everything. please SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That requires pretty basic but dumb question on my part. I have 64 bit notebook and I am sure I had a choice but darn if I remember.

... to ensure that there is no left over entries related to Audacity. If you feel uncomfortable editing the Registry you might want to get some help with that part– the important first step is to make a backup copy of the Registry before you do any editing! Make sure to get your Audacity 1.3.13 ...

... deleted from the "C:Program Files (x86)Audacityaudacity_temp" folder as soon as it is created. I don't use Win 7, so perhaps you could help me out here - do you have any idea why that may have been happening?
