... descriptions for WireTap and Audio Hijack. I'm pretty sure SoundFlower isn't going to do this. It's too simple. Audacity certainly isn't going to help. Audacity does not Play Well With Others and likes running on really simple machines. Koz

... be able to select an input in Mixer Toolbar. Installing "PulseAudio Volume Control" and "PulseAudio Device Chooser" might help if you want easier selection or control. OSS is Open Sound System . It's effectively untested/unsupported in Audacity because many Linux distributions ...

well firstly i lied about the mp3, it is actually wav. i recorded the track into audacity directly from my turntable... so it is the rawest possible form. secondly it is stereo i screwed something up the first time, and the vocals are KINDA taken out when i run the vox reducer within audacity. i can...

Very useful. Truncate Silence wasn't in my "Effects" menu so I downloaded the most recent 1.3 beta and it seemed to work perfectly. By using Chains along with a moderate tempo speed-up, most of the files are now from 1 to 2 seconds, which is an excellent help.
