it is confusing though because making one of the identical tracks only instrumental means taking out the vox, but taking out or minimizing the vox means the two tracks will no longer be identical. this process will put me in a loony farm. Thank you for your help. googling audacity 1.3.14 source code download led only to 1.3.13, so i installed that and it solved the problem, all is now well.

... no cursor appears to enable this. I didn't read the audacity manual cover to cover but couldn't find anything where I might expect to find it. Help greatly appreciated. safemouse

Hi Steve. Don't suppose you could help me too could you. I have an MP3 backing track of Mustang Sally. It has an accompanying click keeping time all the way through the track but it has NO intro. The song begins with brass, piano guitars etc ...

... i.e, it is giving paNoDevice error to me. Also you can say that Pa_GetDeviceCount is returning 0 which indicated no (i/p and o/p)devices. Plz Help..I really need someone to sort this out. plz plz plz.... rank

Ok I have the output speakers set and volume all the way up. When I record I got a solid blue line with a loud buzz. The green light that goes up and down was solid as well.
