... what equipment you are using, how it is connected together, and details about your settings and exactly what you are doing, then I'll try to help. Don't forget to quote your Windows version and exact Audacity version (look in "Help > About Audacity" for the full Audacity version).

Removing vocals without removing all audio
I am a novice...just need to remove vocals from a track, but when I follow the 'split track', 'invert' process everything is removed, including instrument. It is an acoustic track, vocal and guitar only. thanks for the help!

i've only been using Audacity for a couple of days and it all started well! but now the input volume level is VERY low and the meter is red. it worked fine to start with, can anyone help me reset everything to factory settings thx

... record. The only 'record' option in the 'sound' option in Control Panel is 'Sigma Tel Audio', as it is for 'Sound Playback'. Can someone help me???
