After changing some settings on computer we finally got our voice mails off phones and to the computer. We never could hear what we were saving. We just guessed as to when it was finished. Thanks so much for your help.

That should still work for built-in and Nyquist plug-ins if you #define EFFECT_CATEGORIES in src/Experimental.h. If it doesn't work, try a fresh checkout.rcrath wrote:Categories would still be useful though.

... from the File menu, but you loose the vertical scale if you do that, so a screenshot may be better. There is a screenshot tool in the "Help" menu.

I`m trying to record a guitar through an edirol ua-25 sound card. but it will only record out of one speaker. I`ve selected stereo in preferences and when I record i select `new stereo track` but still only comes out of one speaker.help please! thanks. N

... was a typing error in your first post Vanessa. The current version is 1.3.13. You can check the exact version number by looking in the Help menu > About Audacity. If you really have version 1.3.11, you should update to 1.3.13 as it has some important bug fixes. You can get Audacity ...
