I am new to Audacity, and need some help. I have recorded from vinyl to MPeg file. How do I now remove some clicks and pops from the file using audacity. I have imported the file but cannot use the Effects option as it is all greyed out.

I am making a cd and i'm cutting and pasting songs onto a file in audacity, but after adding three songs i added another song and when i listened to it, it changed the tempo and it kinda made the voice of the singer deeper.

It may be helpful to note that resolving clipping can't be done as it is "already recorded".
I was looking for a tool to correct problems and thus on the wrong track.
