Named the file EDDM Audio. No punctuation of any kind. After reading some similarly themed posts in this forum and recalling more clearly what I did:
1. Saved Project.
2. Apparently x'd out of the track.
3. Closed the program.
Am I screwed?

I struggled with this as well and finally got it to work. What worked for me was the following: - download the file: "libmp3lame-osx-universal-3.97.zip" - launch the file and let it install on your hard drive. - search your hard drive for "libmp3lame.dylib" - it's probably buried...

What did you call the file/Project? You can get killed if you used punctuation marks in the filename. No dates. The slash marks mean more to Windows than they mean to you and Windows may damage your show.

Try this. It's a little better -- particularly if you have some inkling what the words are ahead of time. I did Effect > Equalization, Effect > Amplify, Effect > Equalization.
