Hi Thanks for your useful suggestions. I know that the varying pitch of the hum sound will make this a tough job. ... you were working with a project. The .aup.bak file might have references to the old .au data files that contained the recording, but that won't help since Audacity deleted them when you told it to save the empty project on exit. About all that's left is a file recovery program like Pandora Recovery ...

Making radio edits of songs
... out how to do this correctly. I tried "import", but "import audio" is not clickable, and "import raw data" doesn't help because even if both instumental and cleaned acapella are together, it still plays only the instrumental. Help anyone?

Select about five seconds of the show and Export as FLAC. Attach the FLAC file to the forum with the "Upload Attachment" tools under the text entry window.
The magic phrase is 'a buzz that changes pitch'. That's pretty serious.
That one problem kills a lot of useful tools.
