I Cant hear what i am recording
I am using the beta 1.3 on windows vista and when I try to record it doesn't work and i am using head phones for a mic for right now and my mic works fine with others but its not working with Audacity and it did work before with audacity and it doesn't anymore so please help

... 48KH wav file. I want to change the sample rate keeping that 6 channel. But audacity always converts it to 2 channel when I export. can anyone help?

... what you mean? Or do you have to copy to a new track in the same window? If so, what format are exporting to? Are you using Audacity 1.3.13? (see Help > About Audacity). If you are exporting to WAV, and the project contains an imported file like an MP3, it is possible that the track information ...

Could you post a short sample of one of these crackly recordings - it will help us to see/hear what we are dealing with. To create the sample, select 2 or 3 seconds of the crackly recording, then from the File menu use "Export Selection As WAV". To ...
