What format are you exporting the file as?
What is the "Project Rate" (bottom left corner of the main Audacity window) set at?

I am really confused. I have exported many songs into iTunes before and they all have worked. However, one of my songs is giving me problems. It will export and I can open it and add it to my itunes library, but when the track plays, there's a loud "exploding" or "popping" sound ...
