I don't have the options it's asking me to set up in prefere
... question is whether I did something wrong or f I still need to install something so that I can select the USB Audio Codec. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Behringer UGC102 delay and latency
... problem as I know you can fix latency in Audacity recordings. At the moment it is impossible to use the device to record anything. Can anybody help?

... time to wipe and reinstall arrives. Try running Ccleaner before you defrag - it is a free utility that safely removes a lot of junk, which is a help in itself, and also makes defragging quicker (less slow).

... a track deteriorate THAT much in quality when doing this before. I even tried it with a FLAC file thinking that with it being an MP3 it wouldnt help matters much and got exactly the same results. Its sounds really distorted. Any other methods anyone can suggest?

Generating a tone of less than one second
Hi
I'm trying to generate a tone of .05 of a second. Theoretically this should be possible, but the smallest unit seems to be a second. Can anyone help with this?

Removing vocals then leads to seriously poor quality audio
Hi All
Ive used the following many times to remove (as much as possible) vocals from songs

but I'm now getting seriously poor audio after I remove the vocals in this manner.

I'll try lowering the gain both ways and see what works best, but the -6dB guideline will help when I'm trying to get it set right. Thanks.

unfortunately I cannot select any segment to be the profile.
1. I start with a sound file
2. I go to EFFECT | NOISE REMOVAL
3. I select GET NOISE PROFILE
4. nothing happens!

... the version had any bearing on the problem, but it didn't, and I had the same problem before I downloaded .12, so I don't see how this would help. I have multiple versions of Audacity on my PowerPC PowerBook Pro running 10.4.11, and I've never had a problem with selecting whichever version ...
