How can I remove this noise?
... cleanest in the clips. Then from 18-41 seconds is the sound that I'm trying to clean up. I'm guessing it needs both cleaning and amplifying. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

... is coming up. Anyone? PHIL Topic moved to the Audacity 1.3.x part of the forum. Are you using "Audacity 1.3.13 Unicode"? (look in the Help menu > About Audacity). What format are you exporting as? Have you tried exporting in other formats?

Audacity does not Save music files. It saves Projects which will only open and play in Audacity. To get a music file you have to Export one. Export as WAV (Microsoft) signed 16-bit PCM and that file should drop right into your CD burner. If you need MP3, you also have to install the lame software fr...

soo confused please help
i recorded a Skype call with audacity and the file I saved wont open. I then saw that there is a folder with the same title and it has the call in int in 189 parts it was a 7 minute call and I want to know how to make it into one project thank you.

The toolbars move around depending on how you grab and pull icons and graphics. I make the sound meters really big because I know how to read them and the tiny default ones drive me nuts. When I click and expand them, all the other tools and graphics scurry out of the way. If you're out and out miss...
