Re: Help! Files play but NO SOUND!

Re: Help! Files play but NO SOUND!

/Volumes is a folder above the folders you can easily get to from the desktop.

Go > Go to folders > /Volumes

Don't leave out the slash marks.

Re: Help! Files play but NO SOUND!

Are you clear what happened? Once you save your Project (aup, _data folder) the location of the music files freezes. If you move them, rename them, organize them, delete them, change them in any way, then Audacity will not be able to find them and a portion of the show will drop dead. Audacity 1.3.1...

Re: Help! Files play but NO SOUND!

... Please start a new thread next time you make a report. What flavour of Linux? 32-bit or 64-bit? What three-section version number of Audacity (see Help > About Audacity). Is it a repository build or did you compile it from our source code? What version of libsndfile was it built with? The different ...

Re: How to reduce the wav file size in audacity 1.3.13

... for this quick reply. However, Powerpoint, (2007 version), only accepts WAV files. I tried to embed a MP3 file, but it doesn't work, and in the help files of Powerpoint is mentioned that music should be in WAV format. The file needs to have a WAV header and file extension so that Powerpoint ...
