Re: isolate
Ok. I understand, I must try less aggressive noise reduction settings. The isolate feature can help me realize if my setting was aggressive or not. At the best setting the isolate profile should not look different in the speech region compared to the sampled region. Thanks ...

Re: Cross-Fade (revisited)
... Gale. I think 52 characters are OK on all platforms. I've tested on Linux and Win XP but not on OS X, though I've seen screen shots of other Help screens that go a little beyond 50 Characters. The final text should really be tested as monospaced fonts are not used (on Linux), so whatever ...

Re: Cross-Fade (revisited)
Didn't have a chance to look before now, but I'm glad this seems to have worked out so well. I have a few suggestions mostly about the Help. I think it would still benefit from a little ;info line text, something like Cross-fades a selection between two songs to half the selection length ...

generate menu
I use audacity to create special control tracks for mechatronic animations. I know this is a unusual application, but what would help a lot is the ability to add keyboard shortcuts to the items in the generate menu (tone), you cannot do this at present. Can I suggest this as an addition ...
