Re: Wahwah isn't working
... Cache on the Directory Preferences... but Audacity keeps crashing :( . By the way, wahwah is the only effect i've had any trouble with. Look at Help > About Audacity and see if you have the latest 1.3.13 (the "13" is important). If not, please download 1.3.13 here: http://audacity.googlecode.com/files/audacity-win-unicode-1.3.13.exe ...

Re: contrast
Steve, I am sorry my video was not clear. Build number - The help > about > gives the product name 1.3.13 Beta (Unicode). It further says build date is April 6, 2011 - release build. I created a track, measured contrast. The background RMS level was about ...

... problem if you use the sliders to left of the blue waveforms with Mixer Board closed? I know that defeats the purpose of Mixer Board but it would help us to know if the problem is only with the Mixer Board sliders. On the different issue of merging the black split lines, how many split lines do ...

... know what actually sets the font? Must be the OS. I changed the "Applications" font in Ubuntu 10.10 to LM Math Italic size 20 and the Help Screen respects that - so of course that messes the formatting up with short lines and it overflows at the bottom. Our decision (http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=33824&start=40#p108016) ...

I'm not quite sure that I followed what you were trying to say in the video, but could you check the full 3 part version number of Audacity that you are using (Help menu > About Audacity)

using 2 channel tube mic amp w/Audacity
Years ago I bought a two channel tube mic pre-amp by ART from a friend of mine who was an audio engineer. I lost touch with them to get help. I wanted to use it to make my own vocal recordings with Audacity. But I can't find a tutorial on them, and I don't know if I should plug it into the ...

Koz,
thanks for the suggestion on 'Clip-fix', which I tried but did not seem to work in this case. I did however use 'Normalize' which appeared to help a little.
thanks
