On consulting HELP I am told that it only works 'when the Audio is on'--what is meant by this If you could indicate exactly where you read that I'll have a look to see if it makes sense in context. Effects (and most other menu items) ...

I am using Widows 200 [XP] and I would like to add 'bass boost' to my recorded material. However, the 'effects' area is always 'greyed out'! On consulting HELP I am told that it only works 'when the Audio is on'--what is meant by this? The Audio must always be 'on', surely!

after a recording, if i want to select a part of the segement it will be stuck on envelop tool, thus i cannot edit my stuff! if i close it, and reopen it, i usually could use the selection tool, but now it seems stuff everytime so....
