everytime i record and i go black and listen to the track it seems like its a secound or too slower then it should be why is that??? and how can i fix that??!! please provide step by step thank you

... so I had to remove it manually. After that, both iMovie and Audacity started working. Glad you've got it fixed. I'll mark this as solved as it may help others.

... but I couldn't hear anything in my headphones, and I don't believe it recorded me speaking either. How do I go about accomplishing this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
