Morning chaps - wow, isn't this fun . . . . . . as you say it does help to RTFM!! Managed to get this borrowed vinyl onto the laptop - songs from '37 to '55, so they need a bit of tweaking, as well as the clicks and pops! Also managed to change to an MP3 ...

... That's the end of the show. You can't easily recover from that. If you crash the Edirol R09HR capsuls, no downstream bass attenuator is going to help. That's why you want a dynamic microphone and hardware attenuators for a concert. Koz

We need a little more help. What are you recording and how? Are you singing into a microphone plugged into your laptop computer?

I'm brand new to this & not a good techy. What can I do to not have static & buzzing while I'm recording. I'm using Windows 7.

Have you restarted Audacity?

... stereo, and site requires them to be in Joint Stereo. Is there a way to convert them? What software (Freeware please) would I need? Can Audacity help me with this? This is my first go-round with this sort of thing, so any walk-through advice would be greatly appreciated. [link removed]

... have to be synchronized. The feeds go out to choir head phones so people can hear their parts and I can control the mix and the amount of "help" as they become proficent. Saves alot of time not having to go to the keyboard. With audacity right now, I can only provide music to everyone ...
