I have been doing a lot of editing on Audacity, without trouble, but every once in a while, when I cut a section and try to paste it in to another blank audio track, it stretches the pasted section way beyond the length it was supposed to be, thus creating a lot of problems (not the least of which i...

... it this way. It's not my speakers, Windows Media Player plays Audacity's MP3s just fine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn't help. Any ideas? I really need to get this stuff out. Thanks much.

I do have and external soundcard..it a Tascam US-122 and I do have a Yamaha QS300 keyboard.......I have never hooked either up to the computer yet.....would these work for me to do what i need to do?
