When you play your keyboard, the computer is the sole sound source and minor delays are easy to ignore. When you play the guitar, it makes noise itself and the difference between that and the computer playthrough are right in your face. This sounds correct, assuming plugging in the cable to the key...

The latency adjustment in Audacity is the "other latency," track matching, and has nothing to do with your live voice. Koz

Many Thanks it worked downloading the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package": Much appreciated havent had a chance to play about with Audacity yet but ill probably be on the forum again asking for your advice!
