I am trying to record from turntable to laptop with windows 7. I've downloaded the new version as requested but am totally confused once recording has been transferred, as to what to save it as. I want to burn to cd so i can play on a disc player.
Not computer savvy at all so PLEASE HELP.

I reset the preferences but it didn't help. What happens is after Audacity opens and I import a sound file the window goes white and I cannot see the file or navigate thru the program. As soon as I do anything, including click on the blank window, ...
