For one of the projects that gives the error message, open the .aup file using TextEdit. Copy the first 20 or so lines from the file and paste them into a message here. That will help us determine why Audacity can't find the _data folder associated with the.aup file.

audasity stops recording mic
Yesturday everything was OK. Today the program shows such a picture and no sounds can be recorded. Reinstallation din't help (( My windows 7 x 64 has'n changed tonight and I have no idea what has happened.

Hi Koz I aapreciate your feedback a lot, Its just I think it is only one track in the middle of the mix where I turned the volume down. I did record this through an external sound blaster. First simple step is Effect > Amplify > -1 > OK. That will bring the whole show up as loud as it can go without distorting. If you need second by second loudness management, that's a lot harder.
