Thanks, fido. Note that is a Manual for the old 1.2 version of Audacity. Help translating the current manual would be very much appreciated.

LAME 3.99.4 was recently released for MAC.

Does anyone know how to upgrade the encoder in Audacity to the new version? I am running the latest release of Audacity (1.3.14).

I am not so computer savvy that I could compile the open source files in the original release.

Help please?
