How are you connecting the mixer to the computer doing the recording? What kind of computer is it? Are you connecting to the mic input on the computer?

If you are asking how to correct a horribly distorted recording, the answer is that you can't.

Preach by my pastor (using clip on wireless mic). I know how to fix the recording issue (currently have recording going through sub 1 and 2 on sound desk so will reduce those so the recording isnt too loud/distorted).

On my track, the whole track is distorted. Basically it sounds like the person is speaking while pressed up against the microphone. Is there a way to correct this?

I just downloaded Audacity 1.3.3-beta and it works great. No clicks
