It's two lines in one track because its a Stereo track. Those two lines are the left and right channels. I cannot help with the second part of question because I don't use Audacity to achieve those kinds of effects. I only do straight recordings.

That worked really well for me. It's still not as loud as I'd like it as an mp3, but it is louder and the volume is consistent.I'm going to experiment with some dummy files and see if I can't get it perfect for future recordings. Thanks for the help!

Its only something that has just started to happen as we've got to a clip on mic, compared to a fine head mic. I'll try with reducing the levels on sub 1 n 2 and if Im still struggling I will let you know (the sound itself during the preach, live, is fine). Ok, thanks for your reply anyway Bill. Peter
