Thank you -- do you all recommend any third party ogg--> mp3 converters for Mac?

Did windows move some files when it crashed because I have not moved any files...
What is causing the error on 964 which is not allowing me to recover the project?

so, i have already created one .wav file. but i went to export this other one and this error message came up, 'Error while writing WAV (Microsoft) file (disk full?). Libsndfile says "¢" ' can you help?

... anywhere. When useing adacity when I record and then try to export there is no option for mp3 it opens to the adacity file where it give me help,languages, modules,nyquist,plugins. I just want to use it for recording my old cassettes onto the computer.

Do you really want to export at 24 kbps? That is an extremely low quality format. Audacity does not have "resample" as a Chain command, so probably the easiest way (if you really do want 24 kbps MP3) would be to export from Audacity in WAV format, then use a third party batch converter to ...

Another quick question Id like to have a chain in which I use Amplify (-2.0db), then Export to Mp3. When I export I get the error in the attached screenshot. How can I prevent this? Can I add a command to the chain that would automatically resample the project at an appropriate level prior to export...

That’s good to know, although I’ve always been pretty much a live, as is player and never really used overdubs to change or enhance my recordings except for using loops which I like to use as backing tracks to play over.
