I opened up an instrumental mp3 song so i can sing and record, but I can't get it to play when i Pressed the ' Record Button' , it just stops or pause. With the older version, there was no problem. Help me pls. Thank You.

I'm new to transcribing. Both Audacity and Transcribe! have been recommended to me. Of course, Audacity is free while Transcribe! is not...but, can someone explain briefly the user differences between the two and which is the most user friendly for a novice?

Yup I've been trying to import instead of plain old File > Open. All other .aups are opening fine now. But not my interview. That's still in 25 different folders - jeez.
