I have installed audacity 2.0.0 in windows vista.

I don't see the line in option under the input tab. I only see micrphone (realtek) and microsoft sound mapper.

The process was working fine a month ago, recordings were made and the sound worked fine. Now there is no sound. The only changes that have been made to the computer was that we downloaded Lion (operating system). We have downloaded the new 2.0 software. Please help.

OK--thank you all again for your help. To somewhat conclude this thread, I would like to report that Gale's suggestion of reverting to v1.3.12 corrected my problem instantaneously and provided the features I need. No more headaches and a lot of fun!
