Re: Load .wav file & flat line in Waveform display
... If you read them directly, you must keep the WAV files available where they were (and named as they were) when you imported them. If that does not help, what is the location of your Audacity temporary directory as shown at Edit > Preferences: Directories? Gale

Normalize and DC offset correction
... is why I've not posted it to the plug-ins page, but it includes some features that may be of interest for pug-in authors. I wrote this plug-in to help me work out why the Audacity Normalize effect doesn't work properly in all cases (a bug that is currently being fixed). As such it is closely based ...

Re: Applying chains to Flac keeps crashing Audacity
I don't know how much this applies to current OS X versions, but on my old Mac (until OS X 10.3.9), there was a Mac system configuration file under: [user]/Library/Preferences/net.sourceforge.audacity.plist Whenever I had "mysterious" problems with Audacity, I deleted this file, and my pr...

Unable monitor sound before recording[SOLVED]
I am able to record from a cassette tape deck and replay is okay. But prior to making a recording I cannot hear audio which makes it difficult to identify an
individual track. I can't find an answer to this in FAQ. As a newcomer to Audacity I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance, Brown Owl.

Re: Availability of Audacity 2 deb package for Ubuntu
That looks OK as far as I can tell.
If you go to the Audacity Help menu and click on "Audio Device Info" (you will need to wait a minute for the info to come up) what do you get there?

Re: Nyquist FFT Tutorial Help
The Audacity Nyquist FFT functions seem to be seriously broken, with Audacity_2.0.1 on 64-bit Debian Linux I get complete nonsensical values: Sounds like bug 336: http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336 I've been going through parts of the FFT tutorial (on a 32-bit machine) and althoug...

RECORDING ONLY INTERNAL SOUNDS
How can I make it just record internal sounds (like playing a song on my computer to record)
Is this a setting in Audacity? If so where is it?
Or is it a setting on my computer since my computer has a webcam (which picks up sounds)
Please Help!!
