Re: OMG!!! HELP!!!
If you still have the show on the timeline in blue waves, then Export > WAV (Microsoft) 16-bit PCM. That will give you a very high quality, stand-alone sound file independent of Audacity. Koz

How to transfer Audacity recording to CD/DVD
I am very new to Audacity. I have recorded a basesball game from the Internet, and I would like to transfer it to a cd/dvd? using Nero so that my blind mother can listen to it at the nursing home on her cd player. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: help
Was the USB device connected and recognised by Windows before you opened Audacity? yes it was
I'm on the same programme as before. The only thing that has changed is Audacity, why oh why did I update, I had been told never to update as things can go wrong, thats proved to be the case here.

Which version of Windows are you using?
Re: help
Set the Recording (Input) device in the Audacity Device Toolbar to the USB option. I can't find USB option. I think I need some clever person to come and assist me because I am totally lost. I wish I hadn't updated the old Audacity, I knew how to record with that.
