Hello All,
i am trying to convert some of my music from cassette tape, but for some reason the music when it is being recorded in Audacity it slows down and it is distorted, what causes that and how can i fix this problem.

Hey audacity users!

I am still fairly new at Audacity and I need some help. For some unknown reason (for me) every time that I try to split a part of the track, the editing and effect options are both deactivated and light grey. Help?

... Also the engines on these boats were VERY loud, how do I increase the output volume without distortion. I hope you can follow my meaning and any help would be much appreciated.
