Re: Recording a guitar

Set the number of recording channels to "1 (mono)" http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Device_Toolbar

I don't know how you managed to lose the other track, but perhaps this will help: http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/h ... jects.html

Re: Converting Stereo to Mono

I looked under the track menu at some point and did not see that. But it is there. Not sure how I missed it. I didn't go back and look again, as the manual points to the track control panel.

Thanks much for the help.

Plug-ins do not show up

I am running Audacity 2.0 on a MacBook. When I go to effects, none of the plug-ins I have downloaded show up. However at the bottom are things like: "Apple:AUBandPass."

My plug-ins are located in -Applications/Audacity/Plug-Ins

What do I do to make them show up?

Help?

Re: Audacity on "older" PCs-some fine-tuning suggestions(SOL

Question: If I want to do an append record, is there a way to set Audacity so that it gives me a few countdown beats? No, Audacity will start recording immediately. Even if Audacity did have that feature it would be near impossible to get a really "clean" start to the recording. I find th...
