... installed the Windows 8 Release Preview (Big mistake.. Don't do it!) If you can just go back to Windows 7, I wish others more experienced could help but you know Windows 8 is not 100% ready yet. PS: I don't know Windows 8 at all, but can you see if there's the option for software compatibility ...

I decided to go for the ART USB Phono Plus v2 Phono PreAmp with USB and to stop hunting around. :mrgreen:

... doesn't get anything from it even though I know Windows sees input from it. Some people may suggest (and have suggested through other avenues of help requests...) that I use the, "Line In," to my computer for this and that's all well and good, but I need to get this interface working ...

Hey guys, I got an error when exporting wav. files...it says that the disc is full, which is really strange because the disc is not really full. Ive tried with different audio tracks, I click "export" and this error shows up which says: error when saving as WAV (microsoft) file (disc full?...

Audacity isn't the problem. Audacity will record anything Windows presents to it. It's the presenting part that gets you into trouble.

... come here looking for a solution to an identical problem!! The only difference being my O.S. is Windows Vista. Please give us the content of Help > Audio Device Info from the Audacity menu bar and an image of what you see when you go to Sound in the Windows Control Panel and click the "Playback" ...
