... order to get the card to work, I had to install the driver that came on the cd. I installed a few additional things on it not knowing if it would help or not.

If the buzzing only occurs when the problem starts, and is never audible on its own, you probably cannot do much except look at an example of it in Analyze > Plot Spectrum and try Effect > Notch Filter . If you wanted to you could upload a small audio sample, maximum 1MB (use "Upload attachment...

Quiet Recording
Hey guys, I have Turtle Beach Ear Force Bravo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZUbYXNQQbQ)
When I talk on Skype or any other program my voice is fine, I am unable to boost the mic by 30db or whatever and when I try record with Audacity it is very quiet.
If anybody can help me I would appreciate it!

music skips
While recording with my steinberg CI1 on windows 7 64bit the music will skip but it makes a noise before it does and then it dosent pick up any sound for a fraction of a second is their a way to fix this? i tried lowering the audio quality to 16 bit but it dosent help I uploaded a pic of what happens

I can't get it to record!!!

I am having the same problem. I dont see the audio i/q in the preferences. How do I select the device as USB to connect my mixer. Could someone help I presume that you mean the "Audio Devices I/O"? That has not been in Audacity for years. I think the last version to have that screen ...
