Audacity does not support video, but if you also install FFMpeg you may (depending on the type of video file) be able to import the audio component of the video file.

Hey all,
Sometimes when I start up Audacity any audio that I record ends up notching. If I close and reopen the program, the problem with go away about half the time. I often have to close and reopen a few times before I can record clean.
Thoughts? Help?

Try these files.
You will need to put them in the same folder as the _data folders, and change the names of the data folders to: 17_data and 19_data respectively.

The problem is with using ANSI for non-ANSI characters. For Windows XP you should be using the Unicode build, especially for extended character sets such as Hebrew. Thanks very much for the reply. For some reason, in order to create a .wav file, I had to make a copy of an existing one and save the conversion as that copy. But now it works, and I'm happy. Thanks a mill for the fast help!
