I haven't been able to find this anywhere on the forums. I have a problem with my recording. It sounds really strange. I put an attachment showing you what it sounds like.
I am using Windows 7 x64 with the most recent Audacity.
I am using the built in microphone on my laptop.
Any help with this?

... was with Win7 though I doubt this is the root cause. Time permitting I will put my audio card in the XP m/c and re-test. Sorry I cannot be of more help especially as I have seen this before.

Using Audcacity 2.0.01
Only devices listed in Preferences are the microphone and sound mixer. Unable to record off the sound car, only through the microphone. Any help?
