Problem with ITalk

Hi, I recorded 7 interviews with my Iphone using ITalk. 5 of them are great but two of them --which I made in between-- are just mute.
Any idea on why this happened? And do you think there is a way to fix the problem and recover the audio? I'm so desperate!!! :(
Thanks if you can help me!

Re: Help understanding Sampling Rates in Windows 7

Thanks again to Gale and Steve for the informative answers and links to the relevant portion of the manual. I think Gale more clearly stated the point I was trying to get at with the steps in my earlier post, so again I'll just confirm my plan of action to make sure that the rate I choose is the rat...

Re: Professional sounding fade out.

... I think it's supportable, obviously. I would be prepared to put it as a Bugzilla enhancement if there was a Wiki Proposal to link to. That might help get it on to the agenda for a release. Steve is the resident fades expert, I think. Equally sometimes one can just ask at the "right time" ...

Re: Help understanding Sampling Rates in Windows 7

There is some more explanation here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Windows_7_OS#sample_rates Audacity can only receive audio at the requested project rate if the sound device supports that rate and if you tick (check) both "Exclusive Mode" boxes in Windows and choose "Windows Dir...
