... supported by Mandriva 2011? Have you initialised Preferences http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/preferences.html#stored ? Can you capture Help > Audio Device Info in Audacity, or does that freeze up? Gale

Not really , but at least it shows it can work. I've posted the same question to the AutoHotKey forum. Hopefully they won't say they don't use Audacity.

Oh, right - I misunderstood what you meant. In that case I don't have a clue, it sounds very weird.
It doesn't happen with AutoKey on Linux, but I guess that doesn't help you.

Audacity and Mandriva 2011 [SOLVED]

... first time round, then behaves as above. The error makes me think that it is tied up with the operating system rather than Audacity. Can anyone help?

I'm afraid I can't help with AutoHotKey as I've not used it in years and I'm not even using Windows. The Nyquist section is one of the quieter corners of the forum, so you may do better to start a new topic in the General Audio Programming ...

I'm afraid I can't help with AutoHotKey as I've not used it in years and I'm not even using Windows.
