transfer of record music from computer to CD-R audio disc.
LP has been put into computer (windows XP, using the audicity2.0.2 system). I need the method of transferring from the computer to a CD-R audio disc. This is my first attempt at this operation. Help please !

I'm not getting sound into Audacity
... use an audio cord as well and if I do where do I run it from record,booth,or master? And am I using the right version of Audacity. Can you please help I'm trying to record a mixtape with vocals for internet radio. I just need to know over all what to do-Thank you for your time.

Is there a shareware/freeware video editor that will accomplish what I am trying to do? I have Pinnacle Studio 14 but I don't know if it will normalize the audio. I will give it a try.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think i got it to work now after calling a friend for help. It required opening TextEdit, pasting the code into the new document, clicking "make plain text document" in the format menu, saving it to my desktop, closing it, right-clicking/contro-clicking ...

If Audacity is recording what appears to be a flat line, try using the Amplify effect (default settings). If that enables you to hear what you have recorded (albeit that there will probably be a lot of noise and bad sound quality) then you need to adjust the levels in Windows. The recording level fr...
