I know it must be frustrating to deal with folks like me, but I solved it with absolutely no help other then chromium and 4 words "Audacity delete portion recording" Curious had I posted this initially would it still involved more questions.

Please check that he is using the current version of Audacity (2.0.2). The version number is shown in "Help > About Audacity".

Rip music from DVD
I an running windows 7 sp1 and office 2010. I would like to rip the audio portion of a DVD to my music folder. I downloaded Audacity version 2.0.2 but can't figure out how to use it can somebody please help me with this? I would really appreciate it.
