The first and most obvious problem is that the recording level is far too high. Check the recording input settings in the Windows Sound Control Panel and see if you can reduce the recording level so that the waveform in Audacity is about half the height of the audio track. And we'd love to help you, but that's one of the reliable, time-tested ways to kill a show. You can't split off individual instruments from a mixed orchestra and you can't split off individual voices from a performance.

... the very first line, so it reads "#!/bin/bash -x". That will cause bash to print a lot of extra output about what it's doing that might help in debugging. -- Ragnar
