Use the Audacity default settings - sample rate = 44100. Sample format = 32 bit (float). Export as "WAV Microsoft 16 bit PCM" (default).lindsmith88 wrote:What should I put the audio settings at to try to keep the recording as close to the original voicemail as possible?

... in Audacity 1.3? The Bible is quite a project to record without stopping to check. It's possible to get Audacity 1.3 again if you think that will help. Koz

Changing it to external mic worked! Thank you guys so much!! :D :D I have one more question. What should I put the audio settings at to try to keep the recording as close to the original voicemail as possible? I know voicemails aren't that high a quality to begin with, but I would like the recording...
