Pleeeease stop using MP3. After the first one, you're not compressing the music any more. You're compressing the music and the errors.

An 128Kbps original remixed then exported as 128Kbps will have compression damage (compression artefacts) similar to an ~80Kbps original.

Trebor, did you export your remix at 256kb?

I abhor the on-line help, not just Audacity but all the others also. Is there an easier way to gt a hard(paper) copy than to have to open it then print it out, then closing the window and selecting the next one etc.etc. etc. ect.

That happens to me, too. Audacity defaults to putting work in /Applications/Audacity. It's a folder, not a file.

Audacity supports JACK on Windows if Audacity is built with an appropriate patch and PortAudio is updated and patched as described on audacity-devel mailing list.
