hi,can anyone help?

i have recently purchased a numark mixtrack pro and i am running traktor le.

i have downloaded audacity to record my mixing,but cant seem to record?
error box;error while opening sound device.please check the input device settings and sample rate.
what do i do?please help!

... zoom in/out etc. But I cannot edit the track. If I select a part of the track and then go to the edit commands, all of them are grey (not working) HELP!! What am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much indeed for your help. Believe it or not, I have finally managed to solve the buzz problem by connecting the tape deck to an amplifier first, then from the latter to the laptop. The hiss is gone one hundred percent.

You may as I suggested have to trade between brightness and crackle, or see if Robert has another version of his script. The recording is badly damaged, after all.

... up a more muffled version of what it was, with just the soundtrack and unpleasant background noise lower and more compressed sounding. If it will help matters we can refer to it as crackling too.
