I am using Mac OSX 10.8.3 and Audacity 2.0.3 downloaded from dmg. I have recorded a cassette and annotated the tracks as per the Audacity help files. When I try to export the tracks to AAC using Export Multiple (it is the same with exporting to MP3) Audacity exports the first 6 tracks perfectly ...

... AUP file and _data folder, or projects which you had never saved? Do you still have that Audacity session open, if so can you post the contents of Help > Show Log...? When you recovered those four projects, did you get just a single message box with only an OK button that said errors were found ...

Thanks for the heads up. I record in wav on the tascam. It has a few different resolutions which I cant recall off the top of my head depending on how much ya want to fit on a SD card.

... I record I can only hear the mic. I have changed the mic input from Built in Microph to USB Audio CODEC n and it still cant record the iPod your help in this matter would be appreciated..... cheers

i have 1 rca the 1st post going to my speakers all fine and the second port is rca to 3.5mm jack for my input so i can record but when i record on audacity it only recored the left deck or the deck that is being cued even if the deck volume is down and the master is down please help

So my guess is that nothing can be found on that recording. However here are two more (one recording with the microphone in the centre of the room, the other with it pressed up against the party wall), but this time the LFN was loud and I mean LOUD :o I’ve been playing around with the Low Pass Filte...

Having over a number of days followed your advice, I'm delighted to be able to report that I have now been able to convert the file to a proper MP3 and will begin editting it shortly.
