Sorry for the delayed response. Again, thanks Gale and Robert for the help. Robert, the silence cleaner plug-in causes Audacity to crash every time I try to process the file. I'm using version 2.0.3 on Windows 7 x64 SP1. And Gale, using the noise removal effect ...

If Audacity is still searching for Waves plug-ins then you have not removed them completely.
Sorry I don't use Mac so I can't help with how to remove the final traces of the Waves plug-ins but hopefully one of the Mac guys can help with that.

Okay. So I can hear the music through the headphones connected to the mixer and the meters light up, but when I tried the RCA cable trick, I didn't hear a sound. Also, the green light on the usb box does light up.
