i am a new user of audacity 203, i recorded a podcast,i need to remove about 30 seconds and i cant get delete to work, i highlighted the section i want removed and i hit delete, i also tried control x, i can't get it to work, what am i doing wrong thanks, i have windows xp

Thanks Gale for your help. I hope that when you upgrade to a version that can't be overwritten that it will be in the manual also.

I'm not sure what GUI Ubuntu are currently using for controlling the sound system, but there will be some sort of "control panel" for sounds - possibly right clicking on a speaker icon and selecting "preferences". You need to find the recording input settings for your system, and...
